Home made pastry – quick recipe

It is an easy recipe to prepare pastry, at home my mother made it for pies and they were so fluffy and flavorful and very fine. You can use it in pies, strudels, etc… Here you can see the recipe of Pies made as at the mom house.

Egg 1 piece
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
1 tablespoon of wine vinegar
1/3 teaspoon of salt one teaspoon
Quality white flour about 500 g the amount is approximate, as the dough can engorge more or les
Butter 200 g

Getting Started

1. In a 250-300ml glass beat 1 egg. Add 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar and salt.

2. Pour warm water over them to fill the cup.

3. Pour the drink into a deeper bowl, add flour and knead the dough until it gets soft and elastic. When all the flour was caught you can remove it on the table and knead it well with flour if it’s still sticky. Allow the dough to rest for 10-15 minutes, and then knead it again in to allow all the clods to standardize. Leave it 15 more minutes to rest.

4. Spread with the roller a thin sheet about 2mm thick. Brush it with half the butter (it should be really soft at room temperature), until it gets greased well and distributed throughout the length of the sheet. Then roll the dough sheet.

5. You place the roll to resemble a snail and refrigerate 30-40 minutes,

6. After half an hour remove the dough from the refrigerator, Then stretch a thin sheet and brush it with the other quantity of butter.

7. Now you can roll the dough again and let it stay in the refrigerator for another 30-60 minutes, after which you can use in pies. I usually prepare it tonight and make pies in the morning, if I have time.
