Grissini with seeds and wheat

Good after we celebrated nicely, now it’s time to make ourselves beautiful and healthy.
We propose a diet recipe and as with any diet the problem is that we tend to always chew something, so I spent the weekend and I improvised, calculating, writing (unfortunately it is a little hard to find on the net receipts of this kind ) and finally came out with this delicious grissini recipe. They were so good that I couldn’t believe it how crispy and aromatic the grissini were; and when my kid continued to chew on them with such an appetite you can imagine how my mother heart “grew” as the bread.

I can recommend with great confidence and even insist that you try this recipe especially since it brings a plus to the vitamins and fibers for the soul that keeps a healthy diet and especially if he’s a gourmet.

Water 300 ml
1 teaspoon of brown sugar but you ca use regular sugar as well
42 g of fresh yeast from a yeast cube
Quality white flour 1/2 mug my mugs have 300ml
3 tablespoons pumpkin seeds
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
1 tablespoon sesame seeds + 1.5 cups of sesame seeds to sprinkle on top of the grissini, can use poppy seeds
Seeds in 2 tablespoons
3 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon salt Sprinkle extra
550 g wheat flour you can replace here 50-100g flour with rye flour
Egg white from1 piece we use for the grease over the grissini – in the vegetarian version use a little oil or strong black tea

Getting Started

1. Heat the water and sugar and let the yeast dissolve in it.

2. Add half a cup of white flour, mix it well and leave it for 20-30 minutes to activate the yeast.

3. Meanwhile measure the seeds, mix them and gave them in the coffee grinding machine.

4. After the yeast forms foam add it to the composition the seeds and start mixing.

5. Then pour 3 tablespoons of oil, 1 teaspoon salt and mix again.

6. Finally add the whole wheat flour and mix well with a spoon until all flour is incorporated, then gently to gather the dough with your hands. Do not actively knead the composition, because it can be a little sticky.

7. Sprinkle some flour on the table, remove the bowl harp and knead it gently until it becomes uniform.

8. Put it back in the bowl, cover it with a towel and let it grow better for about 30-40 minutes.

9. After this time remove the dough and place it on the table and cut it into many small pieces.

10. Spread thin rolls of these pieces and cut them to the length you want your grissini to be.

11. Arrange them in a tray with baking paper, with a small distance between them.

12. Mix sesame seeds with salt, and sprinkle the grissini with this mixture.

13. Grease or oil the grissini with a little egg white and sprinkle with sesame / salt / poppy.

14. They bake in the oven at medium heat until they are nicely baked.
In doing so I managed to get about 5 grissini trays which were baking fast; at times I was barely succeeding to prepare the next tray before the first was ready.
If you decrease the row material amounts you will obtain proportionately less grissini, but I will guarantee that you will be sorry.

15. Allow them to cool slightly and then enjoy the pleasure of eating them.
