Breads flavored with onion and garlic picture

Along with onion and potato pies, breads flavored with onion and garlic is one of the foods of my childhood; they are prepared when making baked bread out of the bread dough. They are very good, flavorful, fluffy they can almost eat themselves or you could eat them in a soup or a meal with vegetables. Every time they will be eaten very fast, and if you have guests they won’t feel ashamed to wipe the plate with them no matter how picky they might be.

You can try to make breads flavored with onion and garlic every time you make baked bread at home by just putting aside a piece of dough and by following the steps in the recipe below.

500 g bread dough put any amount you want
White onion 1 pc
5 garlic pieces 5 cloves of garlic
100 ml sunflower oil
1 teaspoon of salt

Getting Started
1. First you will have to make the bread dough, you can use any recipe. I always make bread dough at home so I use the same recipe. Knead it and it will grow better if left to rest.

2. Then after you have put away the piece for balabushki, stretch it as a rope thick of about the size of a finger and cut pieces of around 1.5-2 cm thick.

3. Take each piece you made and try to give it somewhat the form of ball.

4. All balls thus formed are arranged side by side in a greased oven tray with a little oil.
Let them 10-15 minutes to rise a bit, and then place them in the oven at 180-200 degrees over medium heat.

5. Meanwhile prepare the onions and garlic as follows:
Cut the onion Julian and fry it in oil (oil should be a little more then necessary) until it gets lightly browned.

6. Garlic are grinded and mixed with half a glass of water, salt and a little oil it will resemble to a kind of garlic rustic sauce.

7. Remove the small breads from the oven when they have browned nicely.
Leave them in the tray 10 minutes so they can cool a bit.

8. Loosen Each ball of the “chain” and put them in a deep bowl.
Pour the onion with its oil and the garlic sauce and mix well the whole composition, so each bread ball will be covered with this flavored mixture.

9. You can serve them hot and cold, with soups or dishes with vegetables / salads.
They are really delicious I hardly recommend you to make them.
